A simple and delicious mango sticky rice recipe.

- 1 cup glutinous rice
- 1 1/2 cups coconut milk
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 ripe mangoes
- Sesame seeds (optional, for garnish)
Anweisungen
- Rinse the glutinous rice until the water runs clear.
- Soak the rice in water for at least 4 hours or overnight.
- Drain the rice and steam it for about 25 minutes until cooked.
- In a saucepan, combine coconut milk, sugar, and salt. Heat until the sugar dissolves.
- Once the rice is cooked, mix it with half of the coconut milk mixture.
- Let the rice sit for about 30 minutes to absorb the flavors.
- Peel and slice the mangoes.
- To serve, place sticky rice on a plate, top with mango slices, and drizzle with the remaining coconut milk mixture. Garnish with sesame seeds if desired.
