- 1 can of corn, drained
- 1 can of black beans, rinsed and drained
- 1 cup of shredded cheese
- 1 package of cornbread mix
- 1 cup of milk
- 1 egg
- 1 cup of salsa
- 1 teaspoon of cumin
- 1 teaspoon of chili powder
Anweisungen
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, mix the cornbread mix, milk, and egg until combined.
- Add the corn, black beans, cheese, salsa, cumin, and chili powder to the mixture.
- Stir until everything is well combined.
- Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- For a spicier dish, add jalapeños.
- Top with avocado or sour cream if desired.
- This casserole can be made ahead and reheated.
