			- 1 pound elbow macaroni
- 4 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 2 cups milk
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Anweisungen
- Cook the macaroni according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add the flour and stir to create a roux. Cook for 2 minutes.
- Slowly whisk in the milk and cream. Stir until thickened.
- Add the garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Stir in the cheese until melted and smooth.
- Add the cooked macaroni and mix to combine.
- Transfer to a baking dish and top with extra cheese if desired.
- Bake at 350°F for 20 minutes until bubbly.

- This dish can be made ahead and baked later.
