A hearty and comforting dish made with ground meat and mashed potatoes.
Zutaten

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 carrots, diced
- 2 cups frozen peas
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 cup beef broth
- 4 cups mashed potatoes
- 2 tbsp butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
Anweisungen
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned.
- Add onion and carrots, and cook until softened.
- Stir in tomato paste and beef broth.
- Add frozen peas and season with salt and pepper.
- Simmer for 5 minutes.
- Transfer the meat mixture to a baking dish.
- Spread mashed potatoes on top of the meat mixture.
- Dollop butter on the mashed potatoes.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
Notes
- You can use lamb instead of beef for a traditional flavor.
- Top with cheese for a richer taste.
