A rich and creamy cocoa pie that my granny used to make.

- 1 pre-baked pie crust
- 1 cup cocoa powder
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup butter
- 3 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup heavy cream
Anweisungen
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a saucepan, combine cocoa powder, sugar, and milk.
- Add butter and heat over medium heat until melted.
- In a bowl, whisk eggs and vanilla extract together.
- Slowly add the chocolate mixture to the egg mixture, stirring constantly.
- Pour the filling into the pre-baked pie crust.
- Bake for 30 minutes or until set.
- Let it cool completely, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
- Whip the heavy cream and spread it over the pie before serving.
Notes
- Use high-quality cocoa for better flavor.
- Chill the pie for a firmer texture.
- Top with chocolate shavings for decoration.
