Zutaten
Skala
- 2 pounds of beef tenderloin
- 4 cloves of garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1 tablespoon of fresh rosemary, chopped
- 1 tablespoon of fresh thyme, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup of red wine
- 1 cup of beef broth
- 2 cups of mixed vegetables (carrots, green beans, and potatoes)
Anweisungen
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Season the beef with garlic, rosemary, thyme, salt, and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear the beef on all sides.
- Transfer the beef to a roasting pan and cook for 25-30 minutes.
- In the same skillet, add red wine and beef broth, scraping the bottom to release flavors.
- Roast mixed vegetables in the oven with the beef for the last 20 minutes.
- Let the beef rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
- Serve with the sauce and roasted vegetables.
