A festive dinner to celebrate New Year’s Eve with family and friends.
Zutaten
Skala
- 2 lbs of beef tenderloin
- 4 cloves of garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1 tablespoon of rosemary, chopped
- 1 tablespoon of thyme, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup of red wine
- 1 cup of beef broth
- 2 cups of mixed vegetables (carrots, green beans, and bell peppers)
- 1 tablespoon of butter
Anweisungen
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Season the beef with garlic, olive oil, rosemary, thyme, salt, and pepper.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and sear the beef on all sides.
- Transfer the beef to a baking dish and roast in the oven for 25-30 minutes.
- In the same skillet, add red wine and beef broth, simmer for 10 minutes.
- Steam the mixed vegetables until tender.
- Remove the beef from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes.
- Slice the beef and serve with sauce and vegetables.
