- 1 loaf of brioche bread, cubed
- 6 large eggs
- 2 cups milk
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup brown sugar for topping
Anweisungen
- Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Place the cubed brioche bread in the dish.
- In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, cream, granulated sugar, vanilla, and salt.
- Pour the mixture over the bread cubes, ensuring they are all soaked.
- Cover and refrigerate overnight.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Remove from refrigerator, sprinkle brown sugar on top.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes until golden brown.
Notes
- Serve with maple syrup or fresh berries.
- Can be made a day in advance.
