Pan seared cod served in a white wine tomato basil sauce.


Zutaten

Skala
  • 2 cod fillets
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/2 cup white wine
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Anweisungen

  1. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
  2. Season cod fillets with salt and pepper.
  3. Place cod fillets in the pan and sear for 4-5 minutes on each side.
  4. Remove cod and set aside.
  5. In the same pan, add garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
  6. Add cherry tomatoes and cook until they soften.
  7. Pour in white wine and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  8. Add fresh basil and stir.
  9. Return cod to the pan and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
  10. Serve warm.
