Pan seared cod served in a white wine tomato basil sauce.
Zutaten
Skala
- 2 cod fillets
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1/2 cup white wine
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Anweisungen
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Season cod fillets with salt and pepper.
- Place cod fillets in the pan and sear for 4-5 minutes on each side.
- Remove cod and set aside.
- In the same pan, add garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
- Add cherry tomatoes and cook until they soften.
- Pour in white wine and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes.
- Add fresh basil and stir.
- Return cod to the pan and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
- Serve warm.

- Use fresh cod for best flavor.
- Adjust wine according to taste.
- Serve with crusty bread or over pasta.
