This is a popular recipe for Panda Express Orange Chicken.
Zutaten

- 1 lb chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1/2 cup cornstarch
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
Anweisungen
- Coat chicken pieces with cornstarch and flour.
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Fry chicken until golden brown and cooked through.
- In another pan, combine orange juice, sugar, soy sauce, rice vinegar, ginger, garlic, and red pepper flakes.
- Cook sauce over medium heat until it thickens.
- Mix fried chicken with the sauce until evenly coated.
- Serve hot over rice or noodles.
Notes
- Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less sugar.
- Serve with steamed vegetables for a complete meal.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
