A hearty dish featuring layers of sauerkraut, meat, and cheese.

- 2 cups sauerkraut
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cups shredded cheese
- 1 cup cooked rice
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
Anweisungen
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef with the chopped onion.
- Drain the sauerkraut and layer half in a baking dish.
- Spread the cooked rice over the sauerkraut.
- Add the beef mixture on top of the rice.
- Layer the remaining sauerkraut over the beef.
- Top with shredded cheese and sprinkle with paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Bake for 30 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
Notes
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
- Can substitute ground turkey for beef.
- Add more spices for extra flavor.
