- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup diced onion
- 1/4 cup diced green bell pepper
- 1/4 cup diced jalapeños
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
- 4 slices pepper jack cheese
- 4 burger buns
- Optional toppings: lettuce, tomato, avocado
Anweisungen
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, onion, bell pepper, jalapeños, chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and cilantro.
- Form the mixture into 4 patties.
- Grill the patties for 5-6 minutes on each side until cooked through.
- Add a slice of cheese to each patty in the last minute of cooking.
- Toast the burger buns on the grill for 1-2 minutes.
- Assemble the burgers with your choice of toppings.
Notes
- Store leftover patties in the fridge for up to 3 days.
- These burgers can be frozen before cooking.
- Adjust the spice level by adding more or fewer jalapeños.
