A simple and flavorful steak recipe made in a crockpot.
Zutaten
Skala
- 2 pounds of beef steak
- 1 onion, sliced
- 3 cloves of garlic, minced
- 2 cups of beef broth
- 1 tablespoon of soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 teaspoon of dried thyme
- 1 bay leaf
Anweisungen
- Place the sliced onion and minced garlic in the bottom of the crockpot.
- Season the steak with salt, pepper, and thyme.
- Place the steak on top of the onion and garlic.
- Pour the beef broth, soy sauce, and Worcestershire sauce over the steak.
- Add the bay leaf.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 4-5 hours.
- Remove the bay leaf before serving.
Notes
- Serve with mashed potatoes or rice.
- Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days.
- Adjust seasoning as needed.
