- 1 1/2 cups of red velvet cake mix
- 1/2 cup of unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup of sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 8 ounces of cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup of powdered sugar
- 1 cup of fresh strawberries, pureed
- 1 cup of whipped cream
Anweisungen
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix the red velvet cake mix, butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla until smooth.
- Pour the mixture into a greased 9-inch round cake pan.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool completely.
- In another bowl, beat the cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
- Add the strawberry puree and mix until well combined.
- Fold in the whipped cream gently.
- Spread the cheesecake mixture on top of the cooled red velvet cake.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
