Zutaten

  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 packet (2 1/4 tsp) active dry yeast
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 cup warm milk
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs

Anweisungen

  1. In a bowl, combine warm milk and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
  2. Add sugar, salt, melted butter, and eggs to the yeast mixture.
  3. Gradually mix in flour until a dough forms.
  4. Knead the dough on a floured surface for 5-7 minutes.
  5. Place the dough in a greased bowl and cover. Let it rise for 1 hour or until doubled.
  6. Punch down the dough and divide it into 12 pieces.
  7. Shape each piece into a ball and place in a greased baking dish.
  8. Cover and let rise for another 30 minutes.
  9. Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 20-25 minutes.
  10. Remove from the oven and brush with melted butter before serving.
