- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 lemon, quartered
- 4 sprigs fresh rosemary
- 4 sprigs fresh sage
Anweisungen
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Pat the chicken dry with paper towels.
- Rub olive oil over the chicken.
- Season the chicken with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and thyme.
- Stuff the cavity with lemon quarters, rosemary, and sage.
- Place the chicken in a roasting pan.
- Roast in the oven for 1 hour and 20 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
- Let the chicken rest for 10 minutes before carving.
