- 1 whole turkey (12–14 lbs)
- 2 cups stuffing mix
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 celery stalks, chopped
- 1 tsp sage
- 1 tsp thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 cups mashed potatoes
- 2 cups green beans
- 1 can cranberry sauce
Anweisungen
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare the stuffing by sautéing onions and celery in butter.
- Mix in the stuffing mix, chicken broth, sage, thyme, salt, and pepper.
- Stuff the turkey with the prepared stuffing.
- Place the turkey in a roasting pan and cover with foil.
- Roast for 3-4 hours, basting occasionally.
- Cook the mashed potatoes and green beans as desired.
- Serve the turkey with cranberry sauce on the side.
