Zutaten
- Turkey – 1 whole (12-14 lbs)
- Butter – 1 cup

- Fresh herbs (rosemary, thyme, sage) – 1 cup
- Cranberry sauce – 2 cups
- Green beans – 1 lb
- Mashed potatoes – 4 cups
- Pumpkin pie – 1 large
Anweisungen
- Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C).
- Prepare the turkey by rubbing it with butter, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Stuff the turkey with fresh herbs.
- Place the turkey on a roasting pan and cover with foil.
- Roast the turkey for 3-4 hours, basting every hour.
- While the turkey cooks, prepare the cranberry sauce.
- Cook the green beans in boiling water for 5-7 minutes.
- Prepare the mashed potatoes by boiling and mashing them with butter and salt.
- Once the turkey is done, let it rest for 30 minutes before carving.
- Serve with pumpkin pie for dessert.
