- 8 ounces elbow macaroni
- 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 3 cups milk
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
Anweisungen
- Cook the macaroni according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
- In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.
- Stir in flour, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper; cook for 1 minute.
- Slowly whisk in milk and bring to a simmer.
- Add cheddar, mozzarella, and Parmesan; stir until melted and creamy.
- Combine cheese sauce with macaroni; mix well.
- Transfer to a baking dish and bake at 350°F for 20 minutes or until bubbly.
Notes
- You can add breadcrumbs on top before baking for a crunchy texture.
- Use different cheeses for variety.
- This dish can be made ahead and baked before serving.
