- Turkey – 1 whole, 12-14 lbs
- Butter – 1 cup, softened
- Garlic – 4 cloves, minced
- Salt – 2 tbsp
- Pepper – 1 tsp

- Rosemary – 1 tbsp, fresh
- Sage – 1 tbsp, fresh
- Stuffing – 1 box (14 oz)
- Green beans – 1 lb
- Onions – 2, chopped
- Cranberry sauce – 1 can (14 oz)
- Pumpkin pie – 1, store-bought or homemade
Anweisungen
- Preheat the oven to 325°F.
- Prepare the turkey by removing the giblets and patting dry.
- Rub the turkey with softened butter, garlic, salt, pepper, and herbs.
- Stuff the turkey with prepared stuffing.
- Place the turkey in a roasting pan and cover with foil.
- Roast for 3 to 4 hours, basting occasionally.
- In the last hour, remove the foil for a crispy skin.
- Cook green beans in boiling water for 5 minutes, then drain.
- Serve turkey with green beans and cranberry sauce.
- End the meal with pumpkin pie for dessert.

- Let the turkey rest for 20 minutes before carving.
- Adjust cooking time based on turkey size.
