- 1 whole turkey (12–14 lbs)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 onion, quartered
- 4 garlic cloves
- 2 cups chicken broth
- Fresh herbs (rosemary, thyme, sage)
Anweisungen
- Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C).
- Remove the turkey from the packaging and pat it dry.
- Rub olive oil over the turkey and season with salt and pepper.
- Stuff the cavity with onion, garlic, and fresh herbs.
- Place the turkey in a roasting pan and pour chicken broth around it.
- Cover with foil and roast for 2.5 to 3 hours.
- Remove the foil and roast for an additional hour or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
- Let the turkey rest for 20-30 minutes before carving.

- Letting the turkey rest keeps it juicy.
