- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup unsalted butter, chilled
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup cold water
- 1 cup pumpkin puree
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon ginger
- 1/2 cup pecans, chopped
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
Anweisungen
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, and salt.
- Add chilled butter and mix until crumbly.
- Stir in cold water until dough forms.
- Roll out the dough and cut into circles.
- In another bowl, combine pumpkin puree, cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger.
- Place a spoonful of pumpkin mixture on each dough circle.
- Add chopped pecans on top of the filling.
- Fold the dough over and seal the edges.
- Brush with beaten egg.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
Notes
- Use fresh pumpkin puree for better flavor.
- Chill the dough for easier handling.
