A delicious Thanksgiving pot pie filled with turkey and vegetables.

- 2 cups cooked turkey, shredded
- 1 cup carrots, diced
- 1 cup peas
- 1 cup potatoes, diced
- 1/2 cup celery, diced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon thyme
- 1 teaspoon rosemary
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 package pie crusts
Anweisungen
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
- In a large pot, melt butter over medium heat. Add onion, celery, carrots, and potatoes. Cook until tender.
- Add turkey, peas, thyme, rosemary, chicken broth, and milk. Stir until well mixed.
- Pour the mixture into a pie dish.
- Cover with pie crust, sealing the edges.
- Cut slits in the top crust to allow steam to escape.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown.
Notes
- Use leftover turkey for best flavor.
- You can add other vegetables as desired.
- Let the pie cool for a few minutes before serving.
