Zutaten

- 2 cups pumpkin puree
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/2 teaspoon ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon cloves
- 3 eggs
- 1 can evaporated milk (12 oz)
- 1 unbaked pie crust
Anweisungen
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
- In a bowl, mix pumpkin puree, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and cloves.
- Add eggs and evaporated milk to the mixture and stir well.
- Pour the mixture into the unbaked pie crust.
- Bake for 15 minutes, then reduce temperature to 350°F (175°C) and bake for an additional 40-50 minutes.
- Check if the pie is done by inserting a knife in the center; it should come out clean.
- Let the pie cool before serving.
Notes
- Serve with whipped cream for added flavor.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator.
- Make sure to use pure pumpkin puree, not pumpkin pie filling.
