  • 1 whole turkey (1214 lbs)
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon dried thyme
  • 2 cups chicken broth

Anweisungen

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Remove the turkey from packaging and pat dry with paper towels.
  3. Rub the turkey with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and thyme.
  4. Place the turkey in a roasting pan and pour chicken broth around it.
  5. Cover the turkey loosely with foil.
  6. Roast the turkey for about 2 to 2.5 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  7. Remove the foil for the last 30 minutes to brown the skin.
  8. Let the turkey rest for 20 minutes before carving.
