A delicious and easy Thanksgiving recipe for roasted turkey.

- 1 whole turkey (12–14 lbs)
- 4 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 tablespoon dried thyme
- 2 cups chicken broth
Anweisungen
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Remove the turkey from packaging and pat dry with paper towels.
- Rub the turkey with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and thyme.
- Place the turkey in a roasting pan and pour chicken broth around it.
- Cover the turkey loosely with foil.
- Roast the turkey for about 2 to 2.5 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Remove the foil for the last 30 minutes to brown the skin.
- Let the turkey rest for 20 minutes before carving.
Notes
- Make sure to let the turkey thaw completely if frozen.
- You can stuff the turkey with your favorite stuffing if desired.
- Save the drippings for gravy.
