Anweisungen

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C).
  2. Prepare the turkey by removing the giblets and patting it dry.
  3. Rub the butter all over the turkey, then season with salt and pepper.
  4. Stuff the turkey with the stuffing mixture.
  5. Place the turkey in a roasting pan.
  6. Add chopped onion, celery, carrots, and garlic around the turkey.
  7. Pour chicken broth into the pan.
  8. Cover the turkey with foil and roast for 2-3 hours.
  9. Remove the foil for the last 30 minutes to brown the skin.
  10. Check the internal temperature; it should reach 165°F (75°C).
  11. Let the turkey rest for 20 minutes before carving.
