- Turkey – 1 whole (12-14 lbs)
- Collard greens – 2 lbs
- Cornbread – 1 batch
- Macaroni and cheese – 1 large casserole
- Sweet potatoes – 4 medium
- Green beans – 1 lb
- Cranberry sauce – 1 can
- Pecan pie – 1 whole
Anweisungen
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare the turkey by seasoning and stuffing it if desired.
- Roast the turkey for about 3-4 hours, basting occasionally.
- Cook collard greens in a pot with water until tender.
- Prepare cornbread according to package instructions.
- Boil sweet potatoes until soft, then mash with butter and sugar.
- Steam green beans until bright and tender.
- Prepare macaroni and cheese by mixing cooked pasta with cheese and baking until bubbly.
- Serve cranberry sauce on the side.
- Finish with a slice of pecan pie for dessert.
