- 4 large yams, peeled and cubed
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/2 cup mini marshmallows
Anweisungen
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Boil the yams in a pot until tender, about 20 minutes.
- Drain and mash the yams in a large bowl.
- Add brown sugar, melted butter, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Mix well.
- Transfer the mixture to a baking dish.
- Top with mini marshmallows.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until marshmallows are golden.
Notes
- Adjust sugar to taste.
- For a crunchy topping, add pecans.
- Can be made a day in advance and reheated.
