A hearty and flavorful chili recipe inspired by Wendy’s.
Zutaten

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 can kidney beans (15 oz)
- 1 can pinto beans (15 oz)
- 1 can diced tomatoes (28 oz)
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 green bell pepper, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp chili powder
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
Anweisungen
- In a large pot, brown the ground beef over medium heat.
- Add the onion, bell pepper, and garlic. Cook until softened.
- Stir in chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper.
- Add kidney beans, pinto beans, diced tomatoes, and beef broth.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes.
- Stir occasionally and adjust seasoning as needed.
Notes
- Serve with shredded cheese and sour cream if desired.
- Chili can be refrigerated for up to 3 days.
- Freezes well for longer storage.
