  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup mascarpone cheese
  • 1 cup brewed coffee, cooled
  • 1/2 cup coffee liqueur
  • 24 ladyfinger cookies
  • Cocoa powder for dusting
  • Dark chocolate shavings for garnish

Anweisungen

  1. In a bowl, whisk egg yolks and sugar until creamy.
  2. Heat milk in a saucepan and slowly mix into the egg mixture.
  3. Cook on low heat until thickened, stirring constantly.
  4. Remove from heat and let it cool.
  5. In another bowl, whip heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
  6. Fold in mascarpone cheese into the cooled mixture.
  7. Combine coffee and liqueur in a shallow dish.
  8. Dip ladyfingers in the coffee mixture and layer them in a dish.
  9. Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers.
  10. Repeat layers, finishing with mascarpone on top.
  11. Chill for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  12. Before serving, dust with cocoa powder and add chocolate shavings.
