A simple and nutritious bread recipe suitable for the Daniel Fast.

- 2 cups whole wheat flour
- 1 cup water
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon yeast
Anweisungen
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix warm water, yeast, and honey. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
- Add olive oil, salt, and whole wheat flour to the mixture.
- Knead the dough for about 10 minutes until smooth.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl and cover it. Let it rise for 1 hour.
- Punch down the dough and shape it into a loaf.
- Place the loaf in a greased pan and let it rise for another 30 minutes.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
Notes
- Store bread in an airtight container.
- This bread is best eaten fresh.
- You can add herbs for flavor.
