- 2 filet mignon steaks
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup red wine
- 1 cup heavy cream
- Fresh rosemary for garnish
Anweisungen
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Season the steaks with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Sear the steaks for 3-4 minutes on each side.
- Add butter and garlic, basting the steaks.
- Transfer the skillet to the oven and cook for 5-7 minutes.
- Remove the steaks and let them rest.
- Deglaze the skillet with red wine, scraping the bottom.
- Add heavy cream and simmer until thickened.
- Serve the steaks with the sauce and garnish with rosemary.
