Delicious chocolate cupcakes with a refreshing peppermint twist.
Zutaten

- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon peppermint extract
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Anweisungen
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, cream softened butter and sugar until smooth.
- Add eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and peppermint extract to the butter mixture.
- Combine the wet and dry ingredients until smooth.
- Fill cupcake liners with batter, about 2/3 full.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow to cool before serving.
Notes
- Store cupcakes in an airtight container.
- For extra flavor, add crushed peppermint candies on top.
- Can be made ahead of time and frozen.
