Anweisungen
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.
- In a bowl, cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Stir in milk and vanilla extract.
- In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Pour batter evenly into prepared pans.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cakes cool for 10 minutes in the pans, then transfer to wire racks to cool completely.
- Once cooled, layer the cakes with whipped cream and sliced strawberries.
