- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon peppermint extract
- 2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder

- 1/2 cup crushed peppermint candies
Anweisungen
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, cream together the butter and sugar.
- Add the egg, vanilla, and peppermint extract; mix well.
- In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture.
- Fold in the crushed peppermint candies.
- Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a baking sheet.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes or until edges are lightly golden.
- Let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
- Store cookies in an airtight container.
- Can substitute crushed candy canes for peppermint candies.
- For extra flavor, add a pinch of cocoa powder.
