- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Anweisungen
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, cream the butter and powdered sugar until light.
- Add vanilla extract and mix well.
- In another bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture.
- If using, fold in the chopped nuts.
- Shape the dough into small balls and place them on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until lightly golden.
- Let them cool before serving.

- These biscuits pair well with tea or coffee.
- You can dust them with more powdered sugar before serving.
