- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- Fresh herbs (rosemary, thyme, sage)
Anweisungen
- Preheat your oven to 450°F (232°C).
- Remove the backbone of the turkey using kitchen shears.
- Flatten the turkey by pressing down on the breastbone.
- Rub the turkey with olive oil, salt, and spices.
- Place the turkey on a roasting pan, skin side up.
- Roast in the oven for 1.5 to 2 hours, until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Let the turkey rest for 20 minutes before carving.

- Let the turkey sit at room temperature for 30 minutes before cooking.
