Zutaten

  • 6 egg yolks
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 1 1/4 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup mascarpone cheese
  • 1 cup brewed coffee, cooled
  • 1/2 cup coffee liqueur
  • 24 ladyfinger cookies
  • Cocoa powder for dusting
  • Chocolate shavings for garnish

Anweisungen

  1. Whisk egg yolks and sugar in a bowl until pale.
  2. Heat milk in a saucepan and gradually whisk into the egg mixture.
  3. Cook over low heat until thickened, then cool.
  4. Whip heavy cream and fold into cooled mixture with mascarpone.
  5. Mix coffee and liqueur in a shallow dish.
  6. Dip ladyfingers in coffee mixture and layer in a dish.
  7. Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers.
  8. Add another layer of dipped ladyfingers, then top with remaining mascarpone.
  9. Chill for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  10. Dust with cocoa powder and garnish with chocolate shavings before serving.
