Anweisungen

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Season the filet mignon with salt and pepper.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Sear the filet mignon for 3-4 minutes on each side.
  5. Add minced garlic and cook for another minute.
  6. Transfer the skillet to the oven and roast for 8-10 minutes.
  7. Remove from oven and let it rest for 5 minutes.
  8. In the same skillet, add red wine and butter to create a sauce.
  9. Steam the asparagus until tender.
  10. Serve the filet with asparagus and drizzle with sauce.
