Zutaten
- Filet Mignon – 2 pieces
- Asparagus – 1 bunch
- Garlic – 2 cloves
- Olive Oil – 2 tablespoons
- Red Wine – 1 cup
- Butter – 2 tablespoons
- Salt – to taste
- Pepper – to taste
Anweisungen
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Season the filet mignon with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Sear the filet mignon for 3-4 minutes on each side.
- Add minced garlic and cook for another minute.
- Transfer the skillet to the oven and roast for 8-10 minutes.
- Remove from oven and let it rest for 5 minutes.
- In the same skillet, add red wine and butter to create a sauce.
- Steam the asparagus until tender.
- Serve the filet with asparagus and drizzle with sauce.
