Delicious homemade truffles perfect for Valentine’s Day.
Zutaten

- 8 oz dark chocolate, chopped
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Cocoa powder for dusting
- Optional toppings: crushed nuts, sprinkles
Anweisungen
- Heat the heavy cream in a saucepan until it simmers.
- Remove from heat and add the chopped chocolate.
- Stir until the chocolate is fully melted.
- Add vanilla extract and mix well.
- Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for 2 hours.
- Once chilled, scoop out small portions and roll into balls.
- Dust with cocoa powder or your choice of toppings.
- Place truffles on a baking sheet and refrigerate until firm.
Notes
- Store truffles in an airtight container.
- Truffles can be made a few days in advance.
- Experiment with different flavors by adding liqueurs or extracts.
